Refreshing Raspberry & Kefir Power Smoothie
This fantastic refreshing smoothie features a blend of delicious raspberries, almond butter, flax meal and kefir >>> a combination that’s not only going to boost your energy, but also your gut health!
Raspberries are low in sugars, high in fibre and rich in anti-ageing antioxidants, and found in abundance during summer days!
The kefir will only add to the benefits as it not only acts as protein but also as a probiotic that boosts the beneficial/good gut bacteria!
Almond butter and flax meal add the healthy fats, and frozen banana will make the smoothie delightfully refreshing!
Ingredients:
- ½ frozen banana
- ½ cup raspberries, fresh or frozen
- 2 tablespoons organic kefir (either dairy or coconut kefir OR greek yoghurt)
- 2 teaspoons natural almond butter
- 1 teaspoon flax meal
- 1½ – 2 cups plant-based milk (hemp, cashew, almond, coconut…)
Optional adds-on
- ½ teaspoon Ashwagandha powder
- ½ Maca powder
- ½ scoop Zinobiotics (prebiotics)
- Balance oil – the crucial omega-3 fatty acids that everyone’s talking about
