FOOD IS INFORMATION.

YOU ARE WHAT YOU EAT.

Kristina Life coach
Hi, Kristina here:  the health & wellness enthusiast behind this blog. I am so happy you are here!
I deeply love everything holistic, smoothies and the sunshine!

My health journey began about six years ago when I started to dive deeper into personal development and nutrition. Not knowingly, I was seeking some sort of personal upgrade – found an event happening the very next day (One-day City Retreat), booked in, and since I have never looked back!

Literally, from one day to another, I went from ‘eating everything’ to gluten-free raw vegan. That’s right – no more cheese, and dairy products (oh, my butter!), no more meat, fish (I was never a big fan, so that was easy), no more foods that contained refined carbs (bye-bye delicious bread and pasta!) and no more literally anything that was cooked!

After living that lifestyle for a couple of years, I slowly went out of the raw vegan diet and tried various dietary approaches: Paleo, Keto, vegetarian, fruitarian… I have come to conclusion there is no one right diet for all, and as everyone is different, we must treat each and every person very individually and take into consideration ‘what’s one person’s food, might be another person’s poison!’

I became obsessed with nutrition, and in the meantime of this personal experiment I enrolled to David Wolfe’s Raw Nutrition Certificate at Body & Mind Institute, later on, Karen Knowler’s Raw Teacher Training Intensive, and I’ve got my Health Coach Certification from IIN – Institute for Integrative Nutrition.

Here’s the thing:

When I was growing up, life was different.

  • People used to grow their own greens, herbs, fruits and vegetables.
  • The meat was sourced from small local farms, or bought at the local butchery shop, and contained no ‘nasties’.
  • The same goes for dairy products.
  • People had gardens. Those living in block-of-flats had a little piece of land for cultivating their veggies too. Most of the time on the outskirt of the city.
  • Foraging was IN. Teas and wild herbs and mushrooms…
  • The food was clean. Quality was always over the quantity.
  • Everyone recycled. The right way.
  • Mineral water was sold in glass bottles. When empty, it had to be brought back to the shop, so you could get a discount from the next purchase, or money back.
  • There was only real bread, no the ‘paper-like’ so-called-bread.
  • Canning the fruits and vegetables was normal.
  • Fermenting a massive jar of sauerkraut for wintertime, every single year, was not negotiable.
  • The meat was eaten once a week, mostly on Sundays.
  • Desserts were truly for an occasion.
  • Personal care products like shampoos and creams were sold in glass bottles.
  • Razors were only stainless steel.
  • Plastics were RARE.

And then, everything changed. At the age of 25 I moved the country. From a small town to a massive city. Never I had experienced (8 million population) city life before. Suddenly everything was about comfort and convenience. If you could get a thing faster, ah, that was just better, as you didn’t have time to waste.

DISCONNECTION.

From people (between people),

from nature,

from fresh air,

from home-grown food,

from self,

from the ‘normal’.

One day, after a few years of living this lifestyle, I could take no more.

I decided to take my life back and started to question the ‘normal’. The ‘normal’ I’ve never experienced before. Overeating, overdrinking, overworking, and literally, any ‘overing’ was not what I wanted my life to be.

My whole life has been about chasing my dreams and living in line with my heart and my gut. I wanted to live the ‘dream life’. After all, we’ve (most likely) only got one shot at this thing called life. I always wanted my life to be the best possible – to experience it in the greatest health of body and mind. So, I looked back and re-connected to my roots. When life was naturally eco and zero waste. When food was all nutritious, and products natural with no needs for any artificial fillers.

  • I always wanted to create something extraordinary for myself.
  • I wanted to have freedom over my time and my money.
  • I wanted to be my own boss and do what I love.
  • I want to live my life intentionally,
  • and I want to share my knowledge, help other well-being warriors to get their life back, and be the best version of themselves. Happy & Emotionally and Physically Healthy.

And that’s when it happened. After my prior childhood experience, countless books, articles, videos and podcasts, and many years dedicated to self-improvement, my wellness blog was born.

NOW, MORE THAN EVER is the best time to GET HEALTHY – EMOTIONALLY as well as PHYSICALLY.

It is my #1 mission in life to help you pursue your healthiest & happiest life.

And I hope that you’ll let me.

We are here to experience our one precious life the best possible way we can.

For some, this might mean un-learning the programmed patterns, and swimming into the sea of endless opportunities of becoming a BETTER HUMAN most importantly for themselves, as well as for others and for our One & Only planet.

My approach to health and wellness is holistic, which means that I look at how all areas of a person’s life are connected. It’s not just the food we eat, but all of the factors present in our daily lives. Healthy relationships (starting with yourself), regular physical activity, fulfilling career and spiritual awareness are all essential forms of nourishment.

I love to dig deeper into various topics – brain health, neuroscience, ‘biohacking’ your body and mind, correcting the body imbalances, and getting into the world of all the possible ways which can boost your cognitive performance and live the longest life utilizing scientifically proved methods.

I truly see greatness in learning how to help people reprogram their brain, heal their illnesses and live more fulfilled lives.

My goal is to inspire and empower you, to provide you with the tools, insights and information you need on your journey to become the best version of yourself!

I am a true ambassador of the importance of balanced nutrition with a huge emphasis on biochemical individuality, as truly

everybody is different. Instead of suggesting what I think you should do, I help you find what works for you.

If the FOOD IS INFORMATION, it all depends on what kind of information do you allow to travel throughout your body and feed this information to your cells. When you eat foods that are beneficial to your body, you are more likely to become a balanced and calm person, with decisions that serve you well. As decisions are formed in the brain, the brain needs to get the best nutrition possible to be able to function on a level we are happy with, and often gladly challenged by.

I believe that your diet determines 85% of your health and wellbeing.

I believe that everybody can only benefit if they up-level their nutrition.

I also believe in returning to eating As Nature Intended!

I simply want anybody who is open to unlearning the old habits be the best version of themselves!

I am in the very process of Becoming a Better Human myself, and this website is documentation of my continuous personal

development at all possible levels and sharing my experience and views.

Welcome to my little piece of the internet and enjoy the ride!

Keep shining!
